Hollow Bay Wellness is seeking a dedicated Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team. This full-time position allows you to make a meaningful impact on the mental health of individuals, couples, and families while working in a supportive and collaborative outpatient setting. Work Environment\nThis position is primarily remote, with the flexibility to offer services in-person or through telehealth, depending on client needs. Our outpatient office is equipped with the latest technology to facilitate seamless virtual consultations. We maintain a work-life balance ethos, with a standard schedule from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing our therapists to focus on both their clients and personal well-being.
Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct individual, couples, and family therapy sessions either in-person or via telehealth, ensuring a comprehensive and tailored approach to each client’s needs. \n
- Perform thorough biopsychosocial assessments to understand clients' issues in-depth and develop individualized treatment plans that guide their therapeutic journey. \n
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and systemic family therapy techniques, adapting them to effectively meet the clients' unique requirements. \n
- Engage in regular collaboration with a multidisciplinary team which includes case managers and medical providers—ensuring comprehensive care and support for our clients. \n
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with ethical standards, following regulations such as HIPAA, California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS), and Department of Mental Health (DMH) guidelines. \n
- Participate in clinical supervision sessions, peer consultation groups, and commit to professional development through ongoing training opportunities. \n
- Foster a supportive and inclusive clinic culture that emphasizes clinician well-being, creativity, and respect amongst team members. \n
We serve a diverse clientele, including individuals, couples, and families from various backgrounds and cultures. Our team is experienced in addressing the challenges faced by marginalized communities, including BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ individuals. We believe in a personalized approach that accommodates the unique experiences of each client, especially those dealing with trauma, relationship issues, and mental health diagnoses.
Qualifications\n- \n
- An active LMFT license in the state of California is required; candidates must not have associate registrations and must be fully licensed. \n
- A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience in an outpatient, community mental health, or private practice setting is essential. \n
- A strong knowledge of family systems theory, trauma-informed care principles, and culturally responsive practices is critical for success in this role. \n

- Experience providing therapy to diverse populations, including BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ communities, will be viewed favorably. \n
- Familiarity with electronic health records and knowledge of Medi-Cal documentation standards are advantageous but not required. \n

- Salary range of $80,000 - $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload. \n
