Hotel Maintenance Technician

**Job Title: **Temporary Hotel Maintenance Technician******Employment Type: Temporary / Full-Time****Position Overview**We are seeking a reliable, skilled Temporary Hotel Maintenance Technician to support our facilities team during a high-demand period. In this role, you will ensure our guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities remain in excellent working order. You will address daily maintenance requests, perform general repairs, and ensure a safe, comfortable environment for our guests.**Key Responsibilities*** General Repairs: Perform routine repairs involving basic plumbing (unclogging drains, fixing leaking faucets), light electrical work (replacing fixtures, outlets, switches), and minor carpentry.* Room Maintenance: Address guest room work orders promptly, including fixing furniture, door locks, TVs, and wall coverings.* HVAC & Appliances: Perform basic troubleshooting on PTAC/HVAC units, mini-fridges, and standard hotel appliances.* Cosmetic Upkeep: Patch drywall, perform paint touch-ups, and keep common areas looking polished.* Safety & Compliance: Inspect public spaces and walkways for safety hazards, ensure emergency exits remain clear, and follow all OSHA and hotel safety protocols.* Preventive Maintenance: Assist the permanent team with scheduled routine checks on boilers, pool equipment (if applicable), and general building systems.**Qualifications & Requirements*** Experience: 1–3 years of general maintenance experience, ideally in hospitality, residential management, or commercial facilities.* Technical Skills: Basic working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, and general hardware repair.* Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 50 lbs, and climb ladders throughout an 8-hour shift.* Communication: Strong customer service skills to interact politely with guests when handling in-room repairs.**Benefits**We offer flexible schedules, excellent training, competitive wages, work-life balance, and job satisfaction.* Medical Insurance* Dental Insurance* Vision Insurance #J-18808-Ljbffr Hhs, Llc
