ProSal Veterinarian: Exciting Surgical & Diagnostic Role

Overview Northgate Pet Clinic is a full-service, AAHA-accredited small animal veterinary hospital located in Decatur, Illinois. We welcome new graduates and experienced veterinarians alike. Our 6‑doctor practice offers comprehensive medical, surgical and dental care for canines, felines, exotics, pocket pets and a small number of zoo animals. Responsibilities Perform wellness exams and vaccinations for a diverse caseload. Conduct advanced diagnostics and complex surgical procedures including soft tissue, dental and orthopedic surgeries. Provide reproductive services and, where applicable, specialize in cardiology. Participate in clinical trials and ongoing research projects. Collaborate with a large, highly trained staff and pursue mentoring and training opportunities. Qualifications Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree. New graduates welcome; prior experience with a broad range of clinical services is preferred. Knowledge of or interest in cardiac, orthopedic, dental or reproductive medicine is a plus. Commitment to high standards of patient care and teamwork. Schedule & Compensation The position requires 40 hours per week with a rotating Saturday schedule. Compensation is ProSal-based with a base range of $110k–$150k, commensurate with experience, skills, schedule, and scope of services.
