Clemency Fellowship: Justice, Policy & Impact Litigation

The University of Minnesota is seeking recent law graduates for the Hassan & Nazie Nemazee Clemency Fellowship beginning in August 2026. This two-year commitment focuses on advocating for a humane criminal justice system and involves direct client representation, impact litigation, and policy advocacy. The Fellow will work under the mentorship of the Clemency Project director, providing legal representation to individuals seeking relief from convictions, while also supervising law students.
