Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications:

Valid Ohio K-12 Intervention Specialist License required
Previous experience in a Special Education classroom preferred
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Demonstrated ability to tailor instructional approaches for diverse learners
Commitment to maintaining a positive, inclusive classroom culture

Responsibilities:

Plan and implement individualized instruction to meet varied learning needs for students in K-8
Collaborate with general education teachers, aides, and related service providers to deliver comprehensive educational experiences
Develop, adapt, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Maintain thorough records, progress monitoring, and ongoing communication with families
Foster an encouraging environment that promotes self-advocacy and student confidence
Participate in professional development and team meetings to enhance instructional strategies
