Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Deliver evidence-based therapy, including cognitive behavioral therapy, to individuals, families, or communities, tailored to meet each client's specific needs. \n
- Assess patients in crisis situations, identifying the immediacy of their needs and coordinating appropriate services or interventions. \n
- Utilize a variety of therapeutic treatment models during sessions, such as behavior modification and brief therapeutic interventions. \n
- Provide clinical supervision and mentorship for Mental Health Workers and therapy assistants, fostering skill development and adherence to best practices. \n
- Collaborate effectively with other community mental health professionals to create comprehensive treatment plans for clients. \n
- Conduct thorough intake sessions and generate Integrated Biopsychosocial Assessments to evaluate initial treatment needs accurately. \n
- Consult relevant standards, including the DSM-V, to formulate mental health diagnoses and treatment plans that reflect rigorous professional guidelines. \n
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that align with standard practice guidelines for mental health care. \n
- Maintain accurate documentation and streamlined electronic medical records while minimizing paperwork to focus more on client care. \n
Your work will primarily involve supporting mothers and individuals from underrepresented marginalized communities experiencing a wide range of mental health issues, including co-occurring disorders related to mental health and substance abuse. This role is crucial in enabling these clients to navigate their challenges, offering a safe space for healing and personal growth.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master’s or Doctoral degree in clinical psychology, counseling, or clinical social work (e.g., MA, MS, MSW, MFT, MHC, PhD, PsyD) from an accredited institution. \n
- An active independent license to practice in the state of Oregon or applicable state (such as LCSW, LMFT, or LPC). \n
- Excellent electronic medical records proficiency to ensure the efficient management of client data. \n
- Strong communication skills, especially via email, alongside a high level of computer literacy, specifically in Windows applications. \n
- Demonstrated understanding and knowledge of co-occurring mental health and chemical dependency disorders. \n
- Capacity to effectively manage a high volume of clients while maintaining quality care and communication with support staff. \n

- Prior experience working with marginalized communities and addressing health disparities. \n
- Training in evidence-based practices that enhance therapeutic outcomes. \n
- Experience in crisis intervention and risk assessment. \n
- Familiarity with using telehealth tools and technologies to facilitate therapy sessions. \n
