This position is for a passionate educator who wants to make a direct impact on student learning by providing literacy interventions, collaborating with classroom teachers, and offering professional development and support to staff and families. Responsibilities Oversee the Manson Park Title I program and support Title I staff at Manson Park School Support literacy instruction across grades PreK-4 Coordinate benchmark assessment systems and utilize data‑informed instructional decision making and progress monitoring Collaborate with the elementary Title I interventionist Identify and implement research‑based literacy interventions Offer professional development to staff Support staff through a coaching model using in‑class consultation, feedback, and modeling for literacy instruction Engage in planning and collaboration with grade‑level teams Communicate student progress and strategies with families Valid Maine DOE Literacy Specialist (092) preferred. This position is a teaching position. Salary would be based on years of experience and the MSAD 53 collective bargaining agreement salary scale. Fingerprinting required by the Maine DOE. Job Requirements At least 1 year(s) of relevant experience preferred. Bachelor degree preferred. Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
