- st shift 7:00am - 3:30pm
- nd shift 3:30pm-10:30pm - work 35 hr > get paid for 40 hr PLUS 5% shift premium.
- rd shift 10:30pm-7:00am - 10% shift premium
Job Description
Position Summary: Responsible for MIG and TIG welds to rotor cores, lamination rings, and brazing
Duties & Responsibilities Information
Makes correct settings on welders including speeds and feeds as well as proper setups of products to be welded
Inspects quality of material being welded necessary to prevent rework
Assembles laminations to lengths
Presses and welds rotor cores
Takes coils and measures to size, cuts to length, and puts ring in jigs and welds
Grinds and cleans rotor cores after welding
Brazes copper pole pates and copper conduction rods
Exercises good housekeeping
Observes required safety practices
Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Team Leader
Necessary Skills
Must be able to read and write
