Manufacturing Technician

Mantell Associates is partnered with a rapidly expanding medical device manufacturer, who is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to join its production team in Los Angeles. You'll play a key role in supporting manufacturing operations, ensuring products are produced efficiently, safely and in line with stringent quality standards. As a Manufacturing Technician, you will be responsible for supporting day-to-day production activities, operating manufacturing equipment and contributing to the delivery of high-quality medical devices. Working within a collaborative team, you'll help drive operational efficiency while maintaining compliance with regulatory and quality requirements. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on technical work and is looking to build a long-term career within a growing manufacturing environment. Operate, monitor and maintain manufacturing equipment to support daily production schedules. Assemble and manufacture products in accordance with established work instructions and quality procedures. Perform routine equipment set-ups, changeovers and basic troubleshooting to minimise downtime. Conduct in-process inspections to ensure products consistently meet quality specifications. Accurately complete production records and manufacturing documentation. Assist with inventory management, material handling and workstation preparation. Maintain a clean, organised and compliant manufacturing environment in line with GMP and safety standards. Collaborate with Engineering, Quality and Production teams to support continuous improvement initiatives. Identify opportunities to improve productivity, quality and operational performance. Previous experience in a manufacturing, production or technical operations role. Experience within medical devices, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology or another regulated manufacturing environment is highly desirable. A strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. The ability to interpret work instructions and follow documented manufacturing procedures. Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
