United Staffing Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN Acute Care Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Albany, Georgia.

Unit: Med/Surg RN

Provide care in a 14-bed Med/Surg unit managing a diverse patient population including CHF, COPD, GI bleed, renal failure, dialysis, post-surgical cases, wound care, and ETOH/psych.

Ratios: 1:6 (days & nights); CNA support available (approx. 1:12, may assist with sitters).

Requirements: BLS, NIHSS (ACLS preferred); 2+ years experience; minimum 1 prior travel assignment required (no first-time travelers).

Must have experience in high-acuity, fast-paced hospital settings (no CAH).

Skills: Medication management (Lasix, Bumex, Heparin), CPAP/BiPAP (night), general Med/Surg care; telemetry monitored remotely (no strip reading).

Schedule: 12-hour shifts (6:45–7:15); every other weekend; holidays rotate.

Details: Meditech charting; floating required to Med/Surg, cardiac units, or ED holds; Caribbean blue/white scrubs; ~3-day orientation; strict attendance and dress code policies.
