As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a transportation‑related location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon: 09:00 AM - 05:30 PM Tue: 09:00 AM - 05:30 PM Wed: 09:00 AM - 05:30 PM Thur: 09:00 AM - 05:30 PM Fri: 09:00 AM - 05:30 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a transportation‑related location. Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, promptly reporting observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, loading zones, business perimeter, and other assigned areas to help to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points, verify visitor and delivery credentials in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports. Observe conditions that may require attention, communicate relevant information to site personnel, and follow established escalation procedures. Minimum Requirements: Customer service experience is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
