Restaurant Shift Leader

A Potbelly Shift Leader brings the team together to make lunch something customers look forward to. You'll lead by examplekeeping the energy high, the service fast and friendly, and the food consistently great in a clean, inviting environment.

Oversee smooth shift operations and create a positive guest experience

Lead and support team members, assign tasks, and provide feedback

Follow all safety, security, and opening/closing procedures

Deliver excellent customer service and resolve issues promptly

Maintain food safety, quality, and cleanliness standards

Manage labor, food costs, and waste

Handle cash procedures and balance drawers accurately

You are friendly and customer service focused

You have excellent communication skills

You take initiative in problem-solving

You can lead a fast-paced environment

You can handle potential allergens: peanut products, egg, dairy, gluten, soy, seafood and shellfish

You can handle the ambient heat of the kitchen

You're at least 18 years old

You're able to stand/walk for up to 8 hours or as needed

You're able to lift up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 20 pounds occasionally

You are applying to work with a franchisee of Potbelly Corporate. If hired, the franchisee will be your only employer. Franchisees are independent business owners who set own terms of employment, including wage and benefit programs, which can vary between franchisees.
