The Dental Assistant performs routine administrative and patient care supportive duties to assist the dental staff in the examination and treatment of patients.General Education RequirementsGraduate from a Florida Board of Dentistry-approved or Graduate from a Florida CODA-accredited dental assisting program or a minimum of three years' experience in Pediatric, General and Oral Dentistry in lieu of education.Additional Requirements• Florida Radiation Safety coursework and X-Ray Certification to meet Florida Radiography Requirements• Current Basic Life Support (BLS)/CPR certification from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross• Ability to work well in a team environment, remains motivated, is self-directed, and demonstrates initiative
