Speech Language Pathologist - Speech Therapy

Position Summary Speech Language Pathologist at Providence St. Mary Medical Center in Apple Valley, CA. Full‑time, 8‑hour day shifts. Responsibilities Evaluates, plans, directs, and administers medically prescribed speech/language pathology programs in the hospital to restore function and prevent disability following disease or injury. Assists patients to reach their maximum performance and integrate into society while learning to live within the limits of their capabilities. Performs administrative duties and participates in department Performance Improvement, Infection Control, Safety and Education programs. May orient staff and students and assume supervisory duties in the absence of the supervisor. Required Qualifications Graduate of a Speech‑Language Pathology and Audiology Board training program. California Speech Language Pathologist License upon hire. National Provider BLS – American Heart Association upon hire. Preferred Qualifications California Children’s Services (CCS) panel member upon hire. Experience in acute care, outpatient, adult or pediatrics. Compensation & Benefits Base salary range $48.79 to $75.74 per hour, with additional compensation such as shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, and bonuses available.
