  • Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate the psychological and emotional well-being of children and adolescents.

  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to address a variety of concerns, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

  • Collaborate with child psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.

  • Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on children and adolescents facing various mental health challenges. You will engage with young patients who may be experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral issues. Understanding their unique developmental needs and employing age-appropriate therapeutic techniques is crucial for fostering positive outcomes. You will also work closely with families, ensuring that caregivers are involved and informed throughout the therapeutic process.

Qualifications\n

  • A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

  • Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.
  • \n
  • Strong knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.
  • \n
  • Experience in delivering individual and family therapy to children and adolescents, demonstrating a compassionate, child-centered approach.
  • \n
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, fostering trust and rapport with young patients and their families.

  • Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiarity with telehealth technology.

Preferred Experience\n

  • At least two years of professional experience in a clinical mental health setting working with children and adolescents.

Compensation and Benefits\n
