We are looking for full‑time Automotive Assistant and Service Managers to join Team Mavis at one or more of our state‑of‑the‑art automotive service and retail tire sales centers in the Staten Island, NY area. With over 2,000 retail locations, Mavis is one of the largest tire sales and automotive repair chains in the United States. About the Position of Assistant Manager As a future leader of Mavis, the Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager to ensure each Mavis retail location operates efficiently, safely and effectively. Assistant Managers enforce established policies, procedures and standards, schedule mechanics/technicians’ work, manage outside orders, ensure the quality and timely completion of jobs, meet customer expectations and maintain the safety of team members. About the Position of Service Manager The Service Manager is responsible for assisting customers with tire selections and recommending necessary under‑car repair services. To provide complete customer satisfaction, Service Managers deliver timely, high‑quality vehicle repair and maintenance, direct the workflow of mechanics, alignment technicians and tire technicians, stage vehicle repair/maintenance work, and drive the sales initiatives of Mavis. They communicate directly with customers, assess needs, provide information about required repairs and maintenance, ensure a satisfying in‑store experience and strive to meet customer expectations. Qualifications Be at least 18 years of age. Be legally authorized to work in the United States. Possess at least 1 year of experience and/or training in automotive parts and/or tire sales. Possess at least 1 year of experience and/or training in automotive repairs/maintenance. Or possess a combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
