Cardiovascular Surgery RN Opportunity

Job Title: RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiovascular Surgery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:00 - 14:30 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Active RN license Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Must-Have: 5+ years of CVOR experience Main OR experience and willingness to float to the main OR Description: This is a Level II Trauma Center position. The unit has a total of 12 surgical suites and operates 2 CVORs. Day shift staffing includes 4 RNs and 4 CSTs. Night shift staffing operates on-call. Patient ratios are 1:1. The unit uses EMR - Meditech for documentation. Typical procedures performed include CABG and valve replacements, as well as thoracic and vascular surgeries. Candidates should be flexible and able to work as part of a team. There is a variable call schedule, and travelers are expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees. This role provides an opportunity to work with new equipment and technology. The tenure and experience of the staff are notable. Schedule options may enhance work-life balance.
