Make a real impact supporting student achievement as a Regional School Psychologist for the upcoming academic year. In this contract position, you’ll serve multiple schools, collaborating closely with staff, students, and families across a welcoming and dynamic school district in the Scottsdale, AZ region. This full-time assignment covers the 2024-25 school year, running from August 3rd through May 21st. There is flexibility, with primary duties onsite, and potential for virtual work to be considered depending on the district’s evolving needs.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Psychology is required
• Valid Arizona certification or credential for School Psychologists
• IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card (Arizona)
• Demonstrated experience supporting K-12 student populations in a school setting
• Strong assessment, intervention, and consultation skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, families, and community providers
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

Role Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and help develop strategies for student success
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to intervention planning
• Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and behavioral support as needed
• Offer consultation services to teachers and administrators on learning, behavior, and mental health matters
• Maintain detailed, compliant, and confidential student records
• Support district-wide initiatives to promote safe and inclusive schools
