Material Handler

Job Description Location: Fremont, OHPay: $20.06-$23.73/hour, based on experienceSchedule: 12-hour, 2-2-3 straight night shift

Join Amcor as a Material Handler and help keep materials moving safely and efficiently throughout our Fremont manufacturing operation. In this role, you'll work in a fast-paced warehouse environment, operate material-handling equipment, and support production by making sure raw materials, supplies, and finished goods are where they need to be.

What You'll Do

• Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely
• Move, stage, and store raw materials, work-in-process, and finished products
• Supply production areas with the materials needed to keep operations running
• Use RF scanning equipment to complete inventory and product movements
• Organize warehouse racks and maintain accurate product labeling
• Perform cycle counts and support inventory accuracy
• Complete routine forklift inspections and battery changes
• Follow all safety, quality, GMP, and food-safety procedures

What We're Looking For

• Ability to safely perform forklift operator responsibilities
• Basic math and computer skills
• Strong organization, communication, and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to complete Amcor Fremont forklift certification and Material Handling training
• Ability to stand on a stand-up forklift for a 12.25-hour shift
• Ability to work in a hot manufacturing environment
