Registered Nurse - Patient Educator (PRN) Immediate Openings - Douglassville, PA

Abbott seeks a registered nurse to provide in-home patient education for anticoagulation management customers in the Douglassville, PA area. The per-diem role involves demonstrating PT/INR equipment use, explaining test reporting options, and documenting training records electronically.
Responsibilities
- Schedule and conduct remote training appointments with customers and caregivers
- Travel to customer homes within geographic service area for in-person instruction
- Demonstrate proper use, care, and operation of PT/INR equipment and products
- Explain test reporting options and maintain professional communication
- Document and electronically submit patient training records using secure encrypted methods
Requirements
- Current registered nurse license
- Clinical experience required
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel minimum 100 miles roundtrip
- Computer and smart device proficiency with basic troubleshooting skills
- Experience with anticoagulation management or homecare preferred
- Health education training experience preferred
Compensation: $22.45–$44.85/hour
