Dental Assistant / Sterilization Tech

Description Alongside and in support of the Orthodontist, performs a variety of patient care, office, and laboratory duties. Works chair-side as the Orthodontist examines and treats patients. Supports the overall office by communicating effectively with other staff and patients, providing assistance where needed. Works as part of a team to ensure patients have a positive experience, and the office runs efficiently. Duties Assists the Orthodontist during a variety of treatment procedures. Seat and set up rooms, take dental X-Rays / records. Provides patients with instructions for oral care following bracket placement. Takes impressions and / or Itero Scans. Follow and support infection control protocol. Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment. Perform office management tasks that often require the use of a computer. Other duties as assigned.
