HVAC Technician

Our client, an Engineering & Technical Services organization, is seeking an HVAC Technician to join their team. As an HVAC Technician , you will be part of the Engineering and Technical Services function supporting a mobile facilities coverage area around Lexington, KY . The ideal candidate will bring a highly professional attitude , excellent written and verbal communication skills , and strong customer service skills to help keep building systems running reliably.

Pay Range: $26.14

What's the Job?

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on HVAC rooftop units and related mechanical systems to keep equipment operating within design capabilities.

• Complete assigned work orders, estimate time and materials needed, and maintain adequate inventory of supplies and tools.

• Conduct weekly and quarterly preventive maintenance tasks, including visual inspections while on site.

• Respond to maintenance needs by chasing and addressing hot/cold unit issues and coordinating with bank staff and property managers.

• Support additional basic building trades as needed, including basic plumbing, basic electrical, carpentry, and painting/patching.

What's Needed?

• Comfort working on rooftop units and performing day-to-day mobile maintenance activities.

• EPA Certification

• Proven experience as a building engineer; a minimum of two (2) years' experience is required.

• Ability to meet physical requirements of the role, including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and lifting/carrying heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.

• Valid driver's license and good driving record.
