4th Grade Teacher

Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic educator to join our team at Nottingham School as a 4th Grade Teacher. The ideal candidate will foster a positive and engaging learning environment that encourages student growth and development. This full-time position requires a passion for teaching, strong communication skills, and the ability to inspire and motivate young learners. This posting will close on Tuesday August 25, 2026.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with state standards and meet the diverse needs of students.
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect, collaboration, and active participation.
- Assess student progress through a variety of methods, including formative and summative assessments, and provide timely feedback to students and parents.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the varying learning styles and abilities of all students.
- Integrate technology into the classroom to enhance learning experiences.
- Foster a love for reading, writing, and critical thinking through engaging activities and projects.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the community to support student success and well-being.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and other required documentation.
- Uphold school policies and procedures while promoting a positive school culture.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Education.
- Valid PA teaching certification for elementary education.
- Experience teaching 4th grade or a similar age group is preferred.
- Strong understanding of child development and effective teaching strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and engage with parents and the community.
- Proficiency in using educational technology and software.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- A commitment to fostering a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.
