If you’re energized by technical excellence, strategic thinking, and building strong client relationships, you’ll thrive here.As a key leader in our Alaska water business, you will:• Deliver impactful water projects across Alaska, including conveyance, storage, water treatment, wastewater treatment, and planning initiatives that support community resilience.• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams, ensuring high-quality technical delivery and seamless collaboration across engineering disciplines.• Manage projects from concept through commissioning, driving schedule, budget, scope, and profitability while maintaining Jacobs’ rigorous quality and safety standards.• Strengthen client relationships by engaging on technical topics, project strategy, and long-term planning to support continued market success.• Support business development efforts, including strategy development, positioning, proposal preparation, and contract negotiations.• Champion a culture of caring, safety, inclusion, and quality, ensuring our teams feel supported and empowered to do their best work.• Mentor and develop emerging talent, helping shape the next generation of water professionals at Jacobs.Join us and help design the future of Alaska’s water infrastructure — from remote villages to growing urban centers — while advancing your career within one of the world’s most respected engineering firms. Here's what you'll need • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering (Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical preferred)• Minimum 15 years of industry experience with direct project management responsibilities• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license or ability to obtain within 1 year• Proven experience managing and designing small to large water planning and infrastructure projects• Demonstrated ability to build, support, and inspire high-performing teams• Strong planning and organizational skillsIdeally, here’s what you’ll also have: • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent project management experience• A strong network with Alaska municipalities, utilities, or other water/wastewater clientsOur Commitment to You Mentoring: Access to formal and informal mentoring programs, including dedicated budget for professional development.Training: Opportunities to grow your technical, project management, and leadership skills.
