• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
ROLE IMPACT
As a Teller I, you will provide exceptional customer service while accurately processing financial transactions in a fast-paced banking environment. Success in this role is measured by transaction accuracy, compliance with bank policies and security procedures, and the ability to build strong customer relationships while identifying opportunities to recommend additional banking products and services.
Key Responsibilities
• Process customer transactions including deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, loan and mortgage payments, official checks, money orders, and cash advances accurately and efficiently.
• Verify customer identity, signatures, available funds, and transaction details while following bank policies, security standards, and balancing procedures.
• Assist customers with account maintenance requests, safe deposit box access, night depository processing, mail transactions, stop payments, and address changes.
• Identify customer needs and refer appropriate banking products and services to support branch growth.
• Complete Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) responsibilities, including Currency Transaction Reports (CTR), monetary instrument logs, and accurate recordkeeping.
Minimum Qualifications
• Previous teller experience with proven cash handling and balancing accuracy.
• Strong customer service, communication, math, and computer skills, including 10-key by touch and a minimum typing speed of 25 WPM.
• Ability to accurately process financial transactions while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
