Bus Driver

Job Posting Dates: February 17, 2026– Until Filled Title: Bus Driver Reports to: Transportation Director Job Type: 6 Hours per day/hourly Qualifications: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Possess a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Successful completion of driver training school Ability to pass a criminal background check Ability to pass a physical, including a drug test Job Description: Utilize map-reading skills to drive the bus to transport students over specified routes according to time schedule Maintain a good driving record by complying with traffic regulations Evacuate students from the school bus in case of emergency Deal with stressful conditions in a professional manner Perform and properly complete daily pre-trip inspections Comply with discipline policies set forth in the School Code of Conduct for Transportation Show proficiency in handling and maneuvering a school bus Build a good rapport with students and parents Other duties assigned by the Transportation Director STATEMENT OF NON-DISCRIMINATION: It is the policy of the Paw Paw Public School District that no discriminatory practices based on race, color, religion, national origin, sex, age, height, weight, marital status, disability, genetic information or any other status covered by federal, state, or local law be allowed during any program, activity, service, or in employment.
