Position Description:

We are looking for a Human Resources Specialist to join our HR Team in our Taylor, MI. The candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field and have zero to five years of related experience. The candidate must be self-motivated, work well with others, be comfortable learning and teaching new technology, and have excellent writing, organizational, and communication skills. A flexible hybrid-remote work schedule is available after 90 days of employment. 

Typical responsibilities include:

• Manage multiple open positions and perform recruiting activities including sourcing, screening, scheduling interviews, etc.
• Support HR functions for the employee life cycle including onboarding, employee engagement, performance appraisals, communication, career development, and offboarding
• Maintain assigned HR related programs that may include performance appraisals, various employee activities, document management, surveys, etc.
• Maintain Human Resources databases, complete data entry and HRIS reporting
• Support other HR projects as assigned
• Maintain a safe working environment

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field

Skills/Experience:

• Zero to five years of experience in an HR and/or recruiting environment
• Basic knowledge of O365 (Word, Excel, Teams, etc.)
• Experience with HRIS software (UKG Pro) preferred
