What It Takes

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• 1 year of warehouse/production/or mail sorting experience
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to read ZIP codes, labels, and follow dispatch schedules
• Basic mechanical aptitude (for clearing jams / minor troubleshooting)
• Reliable attendance and ability to work overtime, weekends, or holidays as needed

Sort and prepare outgoing mail by ZIP code, route, and USPS specifications

Verify postage, barcodes, dates, and overall mail quality before processing

Match mail trays and bins to correct machine outputs and dispatch routes

Monitor and maintain mail sorting equipment; clear jams and troubleshoot minor issues

Ensure all mail is staged and ready for dispatch based on truck departure schedules

Load, organize, and prepare mail for outbound shipments

Perform quality checks to ensure compliance with USPS regulations and company standards

Assist with inbound/outbound mail handling and general warehouse duties

Maintain a clean and safe work environment
