Description

SAIC is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support the US Navy in Crane, IN.

NOTE: This is a hybrid position requiring the candidate to be onsite approximately 3 days a week.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

This position is responsible for providing engineering, modeling and analysis support for prime contractor led design and development of missile and guidance electrical subsystems and sub-assemblies for the Fleet Ballistic Missile D5 Life Extension 2 (D5LE2) program.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

The selected candidate will support electrical modeling and simulation of modern package configurations and interconnects under consideration for the D5LE2 program.

Qualifications

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's degree in engineering and 3 or more year of experience
Understanding of the systems engineering process
Understanding of requirements and architecture development/generation
Electrical modeling and analysis using tools such as Multisim, PSpice, and MATLAB for circuit analysis and data processing
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Interim secret clearance is required to start with the ability to obtain a secret clearance. SAIC will sponsor the clearance process

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

Understanding of systems engineering technical review (SETR) entrance and exit criteria and associated data products
Electrical engineering degree
