Job Overview:

As a Behavioral Support Specialist at Safe and Secure Homecare, you will play a crucial role in providing support to individuals with behavioral challenges. You will work collaboratively with clients, families, and professionals to develop and implement strategies that promote positive behavioral changes and improve overall well-being. This is a full-time position located in Columbus, Ohio, with a salary range of $20 to $25 per hour.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct assessments to identify behavioral challenges and develop individualized support plans

- Implement strategies to address challenging behaviors and promote positive changes

- Provide ongoing support and guidance to clients, families, and caregivers

- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care for clients

- Monitor progress and adjust support plans as needed

- Document all interactions and maintain accurate records

- Stay current on best practices in behavioral support and participate in training opportunities

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)

- Previous experience working with individuals with behavioral challenges

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

- Knowledge of behavioral support strategies and interventions

- Compassionate and patient demeanor

- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
