Pay: $25.00–$30.00 per hour

About the Position

Getwell Healthsystems is seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at a medication-assisted treatment (MAT) center serving individuals receiving methadone treatment for opioid use disorder.

The LPN will support the clinical team with medication administration, patient monitoring, documentation, and day-to-day nursing care while maintaining a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer methadone and other medications according to provider orders, clinical protocols, and applicable regulations.
• Verify patient identity and medication orders prior to medication administration.
• Monitor patients for medication response, adverse reactions, and changes in condition.
• Obtain and document vital signs and other required clinical information.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records and medication documentation.
• Observe and report changes in patient condition to the appropriate medical provider.
• Assist with patient intake, assessments, and routine nursing procedures as assigned.
• Follow all federal, state, and organizational requirements related to controlled-substance handling and medication-assisted treatment.
• Maintain medication security and accurate medication inventory records.
• Provide respectful, compassionate, and nonjudgmental patient care.
• Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and organizational policies.
• Communicate effectively with providers, counselors, nurses, and other members of the treatment team.
• Follow infection-control, safety, and emergency procedures.
• Perform other nursing duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) license in Kentucky.
• Previous experience in a methadone clinic, opioid treatment program (OTP), medication-assisted treatment (MAT), behavioral health, addiction treatment, or related healthcare setting is preferred.
• Experience with medication administration and clinical documentation.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and patient confidentiality requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow medication and safety protocols.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential due to the early morning schedule.
