About the Opportunity

Zing Recruiting, in partnership with our client, the Department of Employee Trust Funds in Madison, WI, is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Mailroom Clerk to join their team. This position plays a critical role in supporting mail services, records processing, data entry, and document management functions.


Responsibilities

• Process incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries.
• Operate mailroom and office equipment, including scanners and shipping systems.
• Perform accurate data entry and maintain records in various databases and systems.
• Research and resolve issues related to mail processing and records management.
• Review and update records while ensuring data accuracy and quality.
• Utilize Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
• Assist with records processing, imaging, scanning, and workflow management.
• Maintain effective working relationships with employees, vendors, and customers.
• Follow established shipping procedures and coordinate deliveries through carriers such as UPS and FedEx.
• Provide exceptional customer service and respond to inquiries in a professional manner.
• Support additional administrative and mailroom functions as assigned.

• Experience with data entry and maintaining accurate records.
• Ability to learn imaging, workflow, and mail-related software systems.
• Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with individuals at all levels.
