Overview
Occupational Therapist needed for a travel assignment in a school setting, with a focus in Acute Care. Location: Federal Way, Washington. Start date: 09/02/2026. Duration: 41 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,416 to $2,528 per week. Guaranteed hours: 0. Shift: 7.5 hours per day, 08:00–16:00, five days per week. Setting: school serving elementary, middle, and high school students. Responsibilities
- Conduct OT evaluations and periodic re-evaluations for students, identifying functional goals aligned with academic and activity-of-daily-living needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans to address fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, handwriting, and classroom participation
- Provide direct OT services in the school environment and help students access and participate in school activities
- Collaborate with teachers, school clinicians, families, and other members of the multidisciplinary team; participate in IEP meetings and goal planning
- Document progress notes, treatment plans, goals, and outcomes in required systems; adjust interventions based on student progress
- Ensure safety, equipment use, and adherence to school district policies during therapy sessions
- Communicate student progress and any barriers to caregivers and supervisors; advocate for appropriate supports and accommodations

Requirements
- Active Occupational Therapist license in Washington state or eligibility for licensure
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
- Minimum 1 year of OT experience; school-based or pediatric experience preferred
- Ability to deliver services in a school setting and to adapt activities for diverse student needs
- Strong collaboration, communication, and documentation skills
- Willingness to participate in a travel assignment and adhere to the school schedule
