Talent Director

A successful, privately held organization is seeking a Director of Talent to lead Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, and Culture & Engagement across the business. Reporting to the CHRO, this is a highly visible leadership role with responsibility for attracting, developing, and retaining top talent while helping shape the next chapter of the organization's talent strategy and employee experience. This is a hands‑on leadership opportunity for an individual who combines strategic thinking with strong execution. Talent Acquisition is the immediate priority, with a mandate to assess, modernize, and elevate recruiting processes, capabilities, and outcomes. The role will also play a key part in strengthening leadership development, succession planning, employee engagement, and culture initiatives across the organization. The company employs approximately 2,000 people across North America and is led by a CEO who is deeply engaged in the business and passionate about building exceptional teams and a strong culture. Lead the organization's Talent Acquisition strategy and execution Evaluate and enhance recruiting processes, tools, metrics, and candidate experience Partner closely with senior leaders on workforce planning and talent strategy Oversee Learning & Development programs, leadership development initiatives, and succession planning efforts Drive employee engagement, culture, internal communications, and recognition programs Lead and develop a team across Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, and Culture & Engagement Provide regular reporting and insights on talent metrics and organizational health Ideal Background

10+ years of progressive Talent Acquisition or Talent Management experience Hands‑on recruiting leadership experience with a track record of building high‑performing talent functions Experience leading teams and influencing senior stakeholders Exposure to Talent Management, Learning & Development, employee engagement, or culture initiatives Strong project management and change management capabilities Experience within manufacturing, consumer products, lifestyle brands, or other multi‑site environments is advantageous Global exposure is preferred Why Consider This Opportunity?
