The ideal candidate will be confident working with the veterinarian, other technicians and customer service staff, be comfortable rooming patients, assisting in surgery, surgical recovery, have experience with proper animal handling and restraint. They will have knowledge of x-ray and positioning, drawing blood and running bloodwork using Idexx equipment and other in-house laboratory equipment, understands the importance of client education, is a positive and supportive team player, and strive to continue to increase their knowledge in the veterinary industry.The veterinary industry is constantly advancing and at Leominster Animal Hospital we support and encourage our staff to do the same.
