Pay is commensurate with experience starting at $49,000 for a 9-month work schedule. Additional pay is available for work beyond 9 months. Full time, exempt, benefits eligible. Responsibilities: Working a school-based 9-month calendar, the WRAP Therapist provides outpatient therapy and related mental health services to at-risk children and adolescents attending rural Douglas County public schools . WRAP therapists are assigned to one or more schools and are a member of their school's multidisciplinary mental health team.

Specific duties include but not limited to:

• Providing high quality and evidence based direct services, including crisis intervention, therapeutic interventions, assessment, support services, intakes, and follow up to at-risk children and adolescents and their families;
• Completing clinical assessments to determine eligibility for the SED Waiver;
• Regular attendance and participation in their school's mental health team meetings;
• Fostering collaborative relationships with school personnel;
• Screening, referral, and case management to help youth access relevant services;
• Coordinating intervention strategies with school personnel and other team members as appropriate;
• Assuming additional responsibilities as circumstances warrant;
• Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this position.

Qualifications: the WRAP Therapist position requires but not limited to:

• A master's degree in counseling, psychology or social work and a current Kansas license in one of these disciplines;
• Experience working with youth and families preferred;
• Experience providing clinical interventions with youth and families, including crisis intervention, diagnosing mental health disorders in youth, and collaboratively creating treatment plans for clients;
• Experience working with school personnel and in school settings or experiences working in community mental health preferred;
• Basic computer fluency;
• Flexibility in assigned working hours;
• A commitment to interdisciplinary and community mental health center approaches; and
• An energetic and positive approach to the rapidly evolving changes and challenges of a complex work-place.
