Industrial Engineering Supervisor

The Industrial Engineering Supervisor is responsible for supervising plant Industrial Engineers and reports to the plant Industrial Engineering Manager. The IE Supervisor will interact with management to develop hourly and salary staffing plans and lead actions to achieve productivity objectives. The person in this position interacts with production management and union leadership on a daily basis on all matters relating to staffing requirements. The Supervisor also supports development of direct and indirect labor budgets with corporate industrial engineering teams as well as performs indirect labor and ergonomics studies with plant Industrial Engineers. This position will assist in planning/adjusting manpower according to assembly plants' production schedules, building plant budget and forecasting yearly manpower needs. The IE Supervisor supports Stellantis Production Way (SPW) and new program system design reviews and optimization and is expected to support the IE Manager with the day to day management of shop floor activities.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in engineeringMinimum of 4 years of industrial engineering experience in a manufacturing environmentDemonstrated experience with time and motion studies, development of standardized work and standard dataDemonstrated the ability to apply throughput improvement processesPractical knowledge and understanding of traditional lean manufacturing systemsData collection, root cause analysis and practical problem solving skillsAbility to lead a team and give clear directionsPreferred Qualifications:Degree in Industrial EngineeringMTM-UAS or MODAPTS certification Experience working in a union environmentSupervisory experienceKnowledge of Stellantis Production Way (SPW) principlesKnowledge/experience with AutoCAD, systems and Microsoft ExcelBrand: FCA GroupJob ID: 2017444Employment Type: Full-timeJob Area: ManufacturingPosted Date: 05/05/2026
