Exciting Opportunity for Experienced Surgical Services RNs

Sign-On Bonus: Up to $20,000 for Registered Nurses with over 2 years of Acute Care Experience. Eligibility criteria and payout details will be discussed during the interview process.

Compensation: $36.00–$49.16 per hour, translating to $432.00–$589.92 gross per 12-hour shift (before taxes and deductions; overtime will be compensated according to applicable laws).

Shift Details: 12-hour shifts available, primarily during the day.

Key Responsibilities

The Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing safe, patient-centered perioperative care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care throughout the surgical process while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team.

  • Administer perioperative nursing care before, during, and after surgical procedures.
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and respond to clinical changes.
  • Maintain a safe and sterile environment while ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Supervise and support OR Technicians and other ancillary staff.
  • Engage in quality improvement initiatives, staff education, and unit projects.
  • Promote efficient patient flow, accurate documentation, and high-quality care.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Current and valid state RN License.
  • Current BLS (AHA) certification upon hire and maintain it thereafter.
  • Current ACLS (AHA) certification within 30 days of hire and maintain it thereafter.
  • Current PALS (AHA) certification within 30 days of hire and maintain it thereafter.
  • A minimum of one year of previous perioperative experience or on-the-job training.
  • Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) certification (AORN) is preferred.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
