Strategic Sourcing Manager Onsite | Food Manufacturing Looking for candidates open to relocation to Ohio | Relocation Assistance Available We are partnering with a growing food manufacturing organization seeking a Commodity Manager with strong protein sourcing expertise to support strategic procurement initiatives across key protein categories.This is a high-visibility opportunity for someone who understands protein commodity markets, supplier strategy, and procurement within food manufacturing environments. The ideal candidate will bring experience sourcing categories such asBeef, Pork,Poultry and other fresh proteins.This Manager needs to be practical, strategic, and hands-on with supplier management and protein procurement operations. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and execute sourcing strategies across protein categories • Manage supplier relationships and vendor performance • Support supplier optimization and sourcing initiatives • Conduct RFP/RFQ processes and negotiations • Monitor commodity markets, feedstock impacts, and industry trends • Partner cross-functionally with operations and planning teams Required Experience: • 7+ years of strategic sourcing experience within food manufacturing or food ingredients • Protein sourcing/procurement background required • Experience managing multiple suppliers/vendors • Strong understanding of protein commodity markets • Experience with RFPs/RFQs Position Highlights: • High-visibility strategic sourcing role • Opportunity to help build sourcing strategy and supplier optimization initiatives • Salary up to $160K base + bonus potential, depending on experience Offering robust benefits and potential for relocation assistance as well. #LI-SB1
