What we’re looking for:
- Experience working as a Paraprofessional, Instructional Assistant, or in comparable roles
- Ability to provide direct 1:1 assistance to students and offer classroom-wide support
- Familiarity or interest in working with students in special education and general education settings
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with teachers and staff
- Reliability, flexibility, and a problem-solving approach to daily challenges
- Commitment to professional growth and fostering a positive, inclusive environment
What you’ll do:
- Deliver individualized support to students—including those requiring 1:1 attention—helping them succeed academically and socially
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to implement instructional activities and accommodate diverse learning needs
- Assist with classroom management and provide behavioral support when needed
- Foster a nurturing atmosphere for all students, championing their strengths and encouraging their progress
- Adapt to varying classroom settings and contribute to a team-oriented culture
