Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) FULL TIME/PART TIME/PRN
Skilled Nursing Facility | Venice, FL
The Palms at Venice in Venice , Florida is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. This role supports licensed Physical Therapists in delivering high-quality, resident-centered therapy services aimed at improving mobility, strength, and functional independence.
Position Responsibilities
Provide skilled physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
Assist residents with mobility training, therapeutic exercises, gait training, and balance activities
Monitor resident progress and report changes in condition to the supervising PT
Complete accurate and timely treatment documentation
Collaborate with therapy, nursing, and interdisciplinary team members
Follow established care plans and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards
Qualifications
Current Florida Physical Therapist Assistant license (required)
Experience in a Skilled Nursing or Post-Acute Care setting preferred
Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills
Ability to work independently while adhering to PT supervision requirements
Commitment to quality resident care and rehabilitation outcomes
