This role requires strong cross‑disciplinary collaboration, combining mechanical design expertise with electrical and power system integration to deliver reliable, high‑performance solutions.Lead the design and development of electro‑mechanical subsystems, integrating mechanical structures with power distribution and electrical componentsTranslate system‑level requirements into robust, manufacturable designs that meet performance, reliability, and safety standardsCollaborate closely with electrical and systems engineers on power distribution, cabling, grounding, and component integrationDesign and package electrical hardware (e.g., breakers, relays, contactors, PLCs) within mechanical architectureDrive prototype build, test, and debug activities, owning issues through root cause and resolutionSupport product development lifecycle activities, including design reviews, DFM/DFA, and supplier engagementAll About YouWe seek individuals who share our passion and determination. If you’re ready to join us on this mission, take a closer look at the minimum criteria for the position.Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with 8+ years of electro‑mechanical design experienceStrong mechanical design expertise across sheet metal, machined components, and structural/thermal considerationsProven experience integrating electrical and power systems into mechanical designs, including high‑voltage or 3‑phase systemsWorking knowledge of electrical infrastructure such as cabling, harnessing, grounding, breakers, relays, and PLCsProficiency with CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks) and product data management systemsExperience with prototype build, system‑level debugging, and cross‑functional collaboration in product development environmentsAdditional InformationFamiliarity with semiconductor test equipment or similar complex systems is a plusKnowledge of power distribution architecture, EMI/EMC, grounding, or FEA analysis is beneficialThis is an on‑site role, 4 days a week in San Jose office.We are only considering candidates local to position location and are unable to provide relocation for this position.This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.Compensation:The base salary range for this role is $133,800 - $214,200. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set.
