Job Description
Title: Medical Assistant

Schedule: Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Assignment Details:
- Guaranteed Hours: 40.00
- Contract Weeks: 6

Requirements:
- High School Education/GED or equivalent: Required
- Medical Assistant Certification from an accredited institution: Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: Required
- Successful completion of audiometry and vision training or certificate from CHDP: Preferred
- Phlebotomy certificate: Preferred
- AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS: Required
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or similar certification: Required

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Prepare exam rooms and check in patients.
- Maintain a patient recall system for lab tests, referrals, and transfers.
- Obtain vital signs and report significant findings to the supervising physician.
- Conduct audiometry and vision testing.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Compliance / Notes:
- All associates are required to receive vaccinations as a condition of employment, with possible medical and religious exemptions.
- Participation in E-Verify is mandatory.
