We build the future of supply chain through process efficiencies, sustainability initiatives, and high safety standards. We operate a nationwide transport & fleet network using common carriers, intermodal rail, and our private fleet to deliver products to customers. We are seeking an inspirational and strategic Fleet Associate Supervisor who will support all aspects of business operations, including Manufacturing, Sales, and Operations, to maximize performance. This leader directly reports to the Fleet Manager and is responsible for oversight of 5 locations, 900 assets, 18 Fleet Technicians, and $10M in fleet spend. The role balances day‑to‑day frontline technician management with analytical strategy. Key deliverables cover fleet operations: preventative maintenance programs, training initiatives, national compliance, and regional/national initiatives that improve business performance. The position is on‑site across 5 locations and requires 40% travel within the market. Key Responsibilities Safety: Lead safety initiatives, reduce injuries, implement safe repair procedures, provide safety training, and manage maintenance violation action plans to ensure DOT and environmental compliance. Service: Improve operational readiness with end‑to‑end asset management, provide world‑class fleet service, reduce fleet tows and downtime, shorten repair times through technician capability advancements, shop efficiencies, and parts program management. KPIs include preventative maintenance compliance and cost per mile. Compliance: Manage all regulatory compliance (DOT, EPA, SMART, FDA, SAG, PepsiCo internal audits). Fleet productivity & financial performance: Lead productivity initiatives and unlock performance through transformation, manage reliability, shop optimization, asset return, reduce fuel spend and miles to meet financial performance plans. People leadership: Enhance employee experience, build a high‑performance team, provide career advancement, elevate workplace experiences, and grow leadership potential. Sustainability: Advance PepsiCo Positive goals by decarbonizing the private fleet, executing fuel conservation plans, reducing fuel usage, improving MPG, and expanding the electric vehicle network. Compensation and Benefits The expected compensation range is $66,900–$111,950. Salaries consider location, skills, experience, and education. Bonus based on performance; target payout is 8% of annual salary. Paid time off subject to eligibility, including parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement. Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred but not required. 2+ years experience in fleet maintenance, transportation, or supply chain operations, or equivalent. 1+ years of leadership experience building high‑performing teams, fostering collaboration, managing performance, and driving operational excellence. Proficiency in MS Teams and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook). Strong understanding of DOT guidelines and private fleet operations. Additional Knowledge & Skills Dynamic leader with strong presentation skills to engage teams and cultivate a positive workplace culture. Ability to influence teams within a matrixed environment, facilitating effective interactions with internal and external customers, vendors, sales teams, operations, and manufacturing. Experience with Enterprise Asset Management Systems (EAM). Flexibility to work off‑shifts, holidays, and weekends as needed. Ability to work on the shop floor and lift up to 40 lbs occasionally.
