Pediatrician, Primary Care - St. Francis

Nemours Children’s Health is seeking a bilingual Pediatrician to join our primary care team at our St. Francis location in Wilmington, Delaware. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician who is passionate about providing high-quality, family-centered care and supporting the health and well-being of children in a diverse community.Position OverviewOur Nemours primary care practices provide a kid-friendly, family-centered pediatric primary care experience for families. With convenient locations throughout the region, we deliver quality, professional primary care services with a special focus on preventive care, whole-child wellness, and building trusted relationships with patients and families.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive pediatric primary care services for infants, children and adolescents.Partner with families to support preventive care, routine wellness visits, immunizations, acute care needs and chronic condition management.Deliver culturally responsive care and communicate effectively with Spanish-speaking patients and families.Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses and care team members to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.Support Nemours’ commitment to whole-child health, prevention and helping every child achieve their healthiest future.QualificationsMD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.Board certification in Pediatrics required.Eligibility for an unrestricted Delaware medical license and DEA registration.Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish required.Strong commitment to pediatric primary care, family-centered communication and serving diverse communitiesWhat We OfferCompetitive Compensation: Base salary and annual incentives recognizing clinical, academic, and quality achievements Comprehensive Benefits: Health, dental, vision, and life insurance Retirement Planning: 403B with employer match and 457 plans Relocation Support: Mortgage assistance and relocation packages Work-Life Balance: Six weeks of paid family leave Professional Development: CME, licensure and dues allowances Additional Benefits: Public Service Loan Forgiveness eligibility; Nemours Children's Health is an internationally recognized pediatric health system serving more than 1.7 million patient encounters each year.
