Interventional Radiology Tech

Interventional Radiology Tech position available. The facility has 874 licensed beds and is designated as a Level I Trauma center. It operates as a teaching hospital and has Chest Pain and Stroke Centers. The department averages 25-30 patients per day. First-time travelers are welcome to apply. The patient population includes adults and pediatrics from various departments. Common diagnoses encompass a full spectrum of radiology exams. Ideal candidates will possess strong clinical skills and be able to function in a dynamic environment. Good communication and a helpful attitude are strongly preferred. The department has leadership support, including lead techs, modality supervisors, and an Imaging Manager. Equipment used includes Siemens and Cannon imaging systems. No floating is required. Travelers will have a consistent schedule without rotations. Call duties will be fairly distributed among team members, including travelers. Holiday coverage will be expected unless previous arrangements are made. Scrub color for technologists is black. The department promotes teamwork and a high level of clinical skill set. Candidates should be adaptable to a fast-paced work environment.
