Position Summary Aetna Resources, LLC, a CVS Health company, is hiring a Data Engineer in Wellesley, MA to design, build, and manage large‑scale data structures, pipelines, and efficient ETL workflows to support business applications. The role involves developing data structures and pipelines to organize, collect, and standardize data for insights and reporting; writing ETL processes and designing database systems; building tools for real‑time and offline analytics; collaborating with Data Science to integrate models into automated processes; leveraging Hadoop architecture and HDFS; and using Python, Java, or similar languages to create robust pipelines and dynamic systems. The position also includes building data marts, integrating data from various sources, ensuring data quality, analyzing IT environments, recommending solutions, and evaluating new tools for optimal outcomes. Telecommuting is available. Requirements Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Analytics, or a related field. At least one year of experience in the job offered or related role. Minimum one year of experience in each of the following areas: CI/CD and GIT Python and Node.js XML, JSON, HTML, and CSS JavaScript and Agile methodologies SQL and PySpark NLP (Scikit‑Learn, SpaCy, PyTorch, or Spark NLP) Contributing to large‑scale applications development, data science, or data analytics projects in healthcare, business, or retail sector ETL processes Designing data architectures, including data pipelines, distributed computing engines, and machine learning infrastructure design Pay Range $140,130.00/year to $173,040.00/year. This range represents the base salary for the position; the actual offer will depend on experience, education, geography, and other factors. Additional compensation may include a bonus, commission, short‑term incentive, and equity award.
