Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional care in the Labor and Delivery unit, with experience in high-risk situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to labor and delivery patients.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, ensuring timely interventions.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to create and implement care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established guidelines.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and health management.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.

Required Qualifications

• A minimum of 1 year of recent full-time equivalent experience within the last 3 years.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current Registered Nurse License in the state where care is provided.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (ANRP) certification.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field.
• Five (5) or more years of recent experience in Labor and Delivery within the last two (2) years is preferred.
• At least one (1) year of high-risk labor and delivery experience within the last two (2) years.
• Experience in high-risk obstetrics (OB) is preferred.
