Patient Service Admin Coordinator - Kahi Mohala Patient Flow (Call-In, Varied Shifts)

JOB SUMMARY / RESPONSIBILITIES

The Patient Service Administrative Coordinator (PSAC) provides administrative continuity and operations coordination (not exclusive to nursing), 24x7, throughout The Queen’s Medical Center – Kahi Mohala (QMC-KM). This role is in support of the unit based, program based and senior leadership of QMC. In the absence of the SVP or VP of any affected area, the PSAC has the authority and responsibility for administrative decisions and appropriate escalation to the Administrator on-call.

TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Seeing, hearing, speaking, finger dexterity. Frequent: standing, walking. Occasional: sitting. Infrequent: stooping/bending, reaching above at, and below shoulder, pushing/pulling up to 5 pounds of force, carrying up to 50 pounds.

TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS

May be subjected to adverse environmental conditions. Area of assignment encompasses total institution.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

A. EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE

Current Hawaii State license as a Registered Nurse. Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. Master’s degree preferred. Must meet and maintain credentialing requirements with the State of Hawaii Child & Adolescent Mental Health Division (CAMHD). Current BLS certification.

B. EXPERIENCE
