Material Handler – 1st ShiftLocation: Pleasant Prairie, WisconsinSalary: $18.50 - $19.50Job Category: Light IndustrialJob Description:CoWorx Staffing Services has immediate openings for Material Handlers with one of our premier clients located in the Kenosha area. We are searching for people who have a strong work ethic and are seeking a long-term position with an industry leader. These positions are contract-to-hire, providing a long-term opportunity for growth and to gain valuable experience in different departments within the warehouse!Responsibilities:Receive merchandise and supplies while verifying accuracy against documentation.Unpack, sort, and stock products in designated warehouse locations.Maintain inventory records and manage daily log registers.Load and unload goods while ensuring proper handling and storage procedures.Ensure inventory is properly packed, labeled, and tagged within the warehouse.Pick and pack orders according to established guidelines and departmental productivity goals.Maintain warehouse quality standards and track damaged inventory as required.Follow carrier guidelines and requirements for packaging and shipping.Adhere to all safety regulations and Kaizen/5S warehouse practices.Desired Background/Skills:Basic knowledge of warehouse operations and general warehouse equipment.Experience using hand-held scanner equipment and systems to read and process orders.Previous forklift experience preferred but not required; on-site training and certification provided.Ability to stand for up to 10 hours during a shift.Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.Ability to work overtime as needed.Positive attitude and dependable attendance record.Other Information:Shift Available: 1st shift: 7:30 am – 5:30 pm, Monday – Friday. Some overtime is required.Pay Rate: Up to $19.50 an hour.More than just a great work environment.
